Metamo was founded 25 years ago and, together with three sister companies, forms part of the Widilco holding company. What once began as a spray shop specialising in heavy equipment and machinery, has grown into an all-round business that offers its customers total solutions in the area of spraying, sheet-metal work, cab construction and lettering.

Metamo employs some 22 people in the spray shop, sheet metal working shop (including cab construction and special structures), blast cleaning shop (including glass beads and schooping) and industrial spray shop.There are five spray booths of varying dimensions. There is even a booth with a length of 37 metres and an extension to 16 metres height, intended for example for work on large cranes.

The daily practice
Once a machine has to be refurbished, this needs to be done expertly and with as little transport as possible from cleaner to sheet metal works, from sheet metal works to spray booth and from spray booth to lettering shop.

Right from the start Metamo understood this well. That is why we have always prided ourselves on our ability not only to deliver pure quality in the area of sheet metal working and spraying, cab construction and lettering, but also to provide a total solution under one roof.

Critical commitment as binding factor
Nowhere in the world are people as critical as in the Netherlands. On building sites throughout the country machines stand resplendent in their company colours and are the showpieces for the companies that use them for their day-to-day work. Many drivers are also proud to climb into their machines.

Keeping an eye on the environment
Metamo is well-known for keeping abreast of the latest developments and technologies in its area of specialisation. Quality standards are constantly being raised and we follow them closely. An example is the consistent use of constantly improved, environmentally friendly paints in combination with modern spraying equipment.

The future as a challenge
Today Metamo is an organisation that has its processes in excellent order. We comply with the new 9001-2000 ISO standard, which reflects our well-oiled management system. Industrial giants such as Ballast Nedam, Convoi, Mammoet van Seumeren, Brinkmann & Niemeyer and Geveke are pleased to do business with us.
